While nutrition and exercise remain pillars of optimal cardiovascular health, research has increasingly shown that these factors can be greatly influenced by genetics. However, navigating this vast body of research can be daunting and difficult to apply in practice. This one-day intensive will focus on key SNPs and the evidence-based nutrition and exercise interventions that practitioners can use to support critical aspects of cardiovascular health.

Topics will include:
  • Understand how genetic testing can improve, simplify, and customize dietary and exercise strategies for each patient
  • Review clinically actionable gene-diet interactions affecting vascular function, lipid profile, homocysteine, and other modifiable factors
  • Discover how SNPs can influence the most beneficial types of exercise for each patient, and which genes can increase risk of exercise-induced injury
  • Learn how to save time and avoid common mistakes when applying genetic test data
  • Find out which supplements are best suited to optimize key genetic variations and support cardiovascular health

Registration: 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM EST
